To hire an adjunct instructor, the process begins with the completion of the Adjunct Request Form via DocuSign. Once the request is approved, an Adjunct Offer Letter will be issued to the candidate; this document must be signed and returned to officially move forward with the hire.
Remote Work and Clearances
- Remote Teaching: If the adjunct will be teaching remotely, the supervisor must submit and receive approval for the Remote Request Form for Adjuncts before the adjunct appointment letter is sent. There is specific language that must be included in the appointment letter for the adjunct to teach remotely.
- Background Checks: All adjuncts are required to complete their required criminal background clearances in full prior to the start of their teaching assignment.

Fall Semester - June 15
Spring Semester - September 15
Summer I - March 15th
Summer II - March 15th
Full Summer - March 15th
